Don’t Hotlink. Please, it’s evil. Just don’t do it! Sure, I know it’s simple and easy, but its immoral.

And I know it’s also a pain to download an image, upload it to some free host, then link to it there.

So here’s the lazy way out, without hotlinking. Ready? Ok!

For this, we’ll use ImgRed, a free site that hosts images, but with a twist.

Say you want to link to, http://www.mozilla.com/img/firefox/main-feature2.jpg.

You could easily embed that in your webpage, copy & paste. To use ImgRed, simply append http://imgred.com to the URL, so it would become http://imgred.com/http://www.mozilla.com/img/firefox/main-feature2.jpg

It’s simple and easy, and the image is copied to ImgRed and hosted there.
